Decision Tree for Selection of Digital Materials for Long-term Retention

A Decision Tree for Selection of Digital Materials for Long-term Retention has been added to the Digital Preservation Coalition's website.

This is a valuable tool which will assist in defining a selection policy for the digital materials in your organisation. The structure of the tree is based on a series of questions which will help you evaluate your digital content according to key organisational issues such as Rights and Responsibilities, Technical infrastructure, Costs and Metadata.

It can be found at: http://www.dpconline.org/graphics/handbook/dec-tree.html
